To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Senior Sales Professional . The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, providing technical and commercial solutions, and contributing to the achievement of the company's strategic objectives. This role requires a strong engineering background, extensive sales experience in the steel or construction sector, high ethical standards, and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of more than 120 employees who contribute their skills, knowledge, and energy with great enthusiasm. Position in organization: - Reporting to: Sales Manager Responsibilities: - • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers. • Generate new business opportunities and achieve agreed sales targets. • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations. • Conduct site visits and customer needs assessments. • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Finance departments to develop practical and profitable solutions for customers. • Promote the company's steel structures and related products. • Negotiate commercial terms while safeguarding company profitability and interests. • Monitor market developments, competitors, customer requirements, and emerging business opportunities. • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports. • Participate in exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums. • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and develop long-term customer relationships. • Support the development and mentoring of junior sales staff where required. • Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. Required knowledge & skills: - Ø BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Ø Minimum 10 years of relevant sales experience in the steel, construction, industrial manufacturing, or engineering solutions sector. Ø Demonstrated experience in selling steel structures, warehouses, industrial projects, construction materials, or related technical products. Ø Strong technical understanding of engineering drawings, structural concepts, and industrial projects. Ø Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships and generate new business. Ø Strong commercial awareness with understanding of pricing, margins, contract terms, and project sales. Ø Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management systems. Ø Fluent in English and Amharic (written and spoken).
