Social Media Operations & Customer Service Officer Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Employment Type: Full-time About Us We are a digital marketing and local commerce company dedicated to helping businesses grow their brands and increase product sales through social media, short-form video content, and digital marketing. We are looking for a motivated, responsible, and fast-learning team member who is passionate about social media and customer service. Key Responsibilities Social Media Operations * Register, set up, and manage company social media accounts. * Operate and maintain accounts on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, YouTube, and other major social media platforms. * Plan, publish, and manage daily content. * Develop and execute content publishing schedules. * Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner. * Monitor account performance and prepare basic performance reports. * Research platform algorithms, trends, and best practices, and apply them to daily operations. * Work closely with the content team to ensure smooth content publishing and promotion. Customer Service * Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services. * Follow up on orders, deliveries, and after-sales support. * Communicate with customers through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and other communication channels. * Build and maintain excellent customer relationships. Daily Operations * Organize customer information, order records, and operational data. * Assist with daily business operations and project coordination. * Complete other operational tasks assigned by the company. Requirements * Excellent knowledge of TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, YouTube, and other major social media platforms. * Experience in creating, registering, managing, and operating social media accounts. * Good understanding of social media algorithms, content distribution, and platform operation strategies. * Strong ability to learn new platforms, tools, and digital marketing trends quickly. * Proficient in using smartphones and computers. * Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. * Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. * Fluent in both Amharic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory. * Previous experience in social media operations, digital marketing, customer service, or sales is an advantage.
