We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage our warehouse operations and inventory control. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, supplies, and products. The ideal candidate ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a safe and clean work environment, and keeps accurate digital records of all stock movements. Key Responsibilities • Inventory Control: Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against delivery notes/purchase orders, and inspect goods for damages or defects. • Storage & Organization: Organize, label, and safely store items in their designated warehouse locations to maximize space and ensure fast retrieval. • Stock Dispatching: Issue materials, tools, or products to internal teams or external clients based on approved requisition forms or orders. • Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all stock additions, withdrawals, and current inventory levels using inventory software or spreadsheets. • Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical inventory counts (cycle counting) and reconcile physical stock numbers with digital records to prevent discrepancies or theft. • Safety & Maintenance: Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Report any maintenance or security issues immediately. Requirements & Qualifications • Experience: 1 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Clerk, or Inventory Assistant. • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic math skills for accurate counting. • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk through warehouse spaces, and lift/move heavy packages (typically up to 50 lbs / 23 kg). • Tech Literacy: Familiarity with inventory management systems (ERP software like SAP, Oracle, or basic Excel tracking sheets). • Licensing (Optional but Preferred): A valid forklift operator's license is a major plus depending on the warehouse size.
