Storekeeper Job Summary The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing company materials and equipment. The role includes maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring proper handling and availability of items. Eyob Demisse Event, Equipment Rental and Tent Work is seeking a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage event equipment storage, inventory control, and daily store operations. Key Responsibilities • Receive, inspect, and record incoming and returned equipment. • Prepare and issue equipment for event dispatch. • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement documentation. • Organize and properly store tents, chairs, tables, and other rental equipment. • Conduct regular stock checks and report missing, damaged, or low-stock items. • Coordinate with the operations team during equipment delivery and return. • Ensure all equipment is complete and in good condition before storage or dispatch. • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of the store area. Qualifications • Minimum of Grade 10 completed . • Minimum of 2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management . • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage. • Honest, responsible, organized, and able to work effectively with a team.
