About Us At Phoenix Language School , we are passionate about making language learning fun, engaging, and effective. Our student body is wonderfully diverse, consisting of kids, young learners, and teens. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support our entire language school during our two-month Kiremt program, helping our lead teachers across all age groups and classrooms. Roles and Responsibilities As a Teaching Assistant, you will be the right hand to our main classroom teachers. Because you will be supporting the whole school, your day-to-day duties will include: • Arrival and Dismissal Coordination: Meeting students on the ground floor upon arrival, safely escorting them upstairs to our second-floor classrooms, and bringing them back down to their parents at pick-up time. • General Classroom Support: Assisting the lead teacher with executing lessons, setting up the classroom, and managing daily routines for all age groups. • Student Guidance: Breaking down instructions in English and explaining concepts clearly to any student who might need a little extra help understanding the lesson. • Younger Child Support: Engaging with the little ones during playtime, monitoring them to ensure a safe environment, and assisting with basic care needs (such as escorting them to the bathroom and helping them wash their hands). • Young Learner & Teen Engagement: Helping to facilitate group work, educational games, and classroom activities tailored to our older students to keep them focused and motivated. • Activity Facilitation: Helping students of all ages participate in various educational activities, arts and crafts, and language games. What We Are Looking For • English Fluency: You must be completely fluent in English, as you will be assisting with language instruction and communicating with students across the entire school. • A genuine love for working with a wide range of ages, from young kids up to teenagers. • High adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain things simply and effectively. • Availability to work from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM for the full two-month Kiremt season. • Optional: Previous experience in childcare, tutoring, or a language school setting.
