Key Responsibilities • Tender Opportunity Identification • Monitor tender advertisements daily through major newspapers, the Ethiopian Government Procurement Portal (EGP), 2Merkato, and websites of key organizations such as NGOs, the United Nations (UN), the African Union (AU), and other relevant institutions. • Conduct preliminary screening of tender opportunities and maintain a centralized tender tracking database. • Distribute relevant tender notices to the Tender Manager and concerned internal departments for review and action. • Documentation and Proposal Support • Assist in collecting, organizing, and formatting tender documents, vendor quotations, compliance statements, and supporting materials. • Prepare initial drafts of standard proposal sections, compliance matrices, cover letters, and other tender-related documentation. • Maintain and regularly update the repository of company profiles, certificates, licenses, templates, and standard tender documents. • Bond Administration • Prepare and process documentation required for Bid Bonds and Performance Bonds, including issuance, renewal, and amendments. • Liaise with banks and financial institutions to facilitate bond processing and collection. • Maintain an accurate bond register and follow up on bond releases upon successful contract completion. • Reporting and Data Management • Compile and maintain tender performance reports, including bids submitted, won, lost, and purchased but not submitted. • Track tender deadlines, submission status, evaluation outcomes, and contract awards. • Ensure all tender records and databases are up to date and properly maintained. • General Administrative Support • Coordinate with the Tender Documentation Officer regarding the printing, binding, packaging, and delivery of tender submissions. • Schedule bid review meetings and prepare relevant materials and documentation. • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Tender Manager. • Qualifications and Requirements Education • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BSc) in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Information Technology (IT), or a related field. Experience • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in tendering, • Experience working with government procurement systems, including EGP and PPRA platforms, is mandatory. • Familiarity with Bid Bond and Performance Bond processes is an added advantage. Skills and Competencies • Strong organizational and document management skills. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively. • Strong teamwork and coordination skills. • Offers a Competitive Salary
