Role Overview Merkato TV is looking for a dynamic, multi-talented both Gender TV Host to join our team. This is a unique, hybrid role for someone who wants to be both the brains behind our commercial strategies and the face of our television channel. Because we are a fast-growing commercial TV station focused on product showcases, lifestyle solutions, and unboxing culture, you will spend half your time designing creative marketing campaigns and the other half pitching and hosting those products confidently on camera. Key Responsibilities On-Camera Hosting: Host commercial segments, product reviews, and unboxing videos with high energy and a natural, friendly presence. Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns focused on practical, problem-solving narratives that show viewers how products improve their daily lives. Client Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and production teams to ensure our clients' brands are presented beautifully and effectively. Qualifications & Requirements Camera Presence: Exceptionally confident on camera with a vibrant personality and persuasive storytelling skills. Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent creative drive). Fresh Graduate Welcome: No extensive experience is required, but you must be highly open to learning, adaptable, and structured. Language & Communication: Fluent in Amharic with excellent verbal and presentation skills. Mindset: Well-oriented, creative, and passionate about how digital media and television drive business growth.
