Position: Environmental, Health & Safety Officer MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool. EXPERIENCE : Minimum of four years experience in the field, especially in Fire protection, in Chemical, in Occupational Safety & Health; practices. Sound experience in preparing, providing & running different training programs is highly required. A certificate in HACCP trainings is advantageous. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety. LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: High degree of proficiency English language skills in both written and spoken. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, nationally recognized standards and guidelines relevant to the specialized Environmental Health and Safety functions of the position. • Must possess good computer skills in the Microsoft Office Environment. • Ability to apply professional approaches to all safety related issues. • Ability to organize, prepare and conduct regular safety trainings; and ability to run effective meetings. • Ability to ensure that all Hotel Associates acquire the skills & knowledge of Safety practices in their day-to-day work. • Must possess good communication skill in presenting technical reports. • Knowledge to apply successful planning & administrative principles to all job function. • Strong interest & passion to work as EH&S Officer. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Effective project management skills. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
