We use the 100% Comprehensible Input (CI) methodology, which teaches language entirely through natural immersion, storytelling, and physical actions. The Role We are looking for organized, detail-oriented Video Editors to join our production pipeline. Because our educational methodology relies completely on natural immersion, our editing style is clean, transparent, and focused . We do not use flashy graphics, visual effects, or text overlays. Your core responsibility is to master the pacing, audio clarity, and rhythm of the teacher's lesson. Key Responsibilities • Assembly & Pacing: Sync multi-take raw footage into a seamless, naturally paced final video. • Audio Enhancement: Clean background noise, balance audio levels, and ensure the creator's voice is completely crisp and intelligible. • Branding & Export: Apply the company watermark, cut files to exact target durations, and export files according to project specifications. • Pipeline Management: Pull raw assets from our team folder and upload polished cuts to the review folder within tight turnaround windows. Required Skills & Qualifications • Proficiency in professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve). • Strong understanding of audio clean-up, leveling, and noise-reduction techniques. • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to hit predictable weekly delivery targets. • Fluency in Amharic (to accurately track pacing and story transitions). • Expected Workflow & Payouts • Weekly Workload: Editors are expected to handle a steady queue of 10 to 20 videos per week from our creator team. • Payout Schedule: Accumulated production earnings and speed bonuses are processed as a single bundled payment once a month via international transfer. Performance milestone bonuses are audited and paid out once every quarter (every 3 months) .
