Video Production Head Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Company: Ultra Communications ### About the Role Ultra Communications is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive video production head to join our team. This role combines content production with project tracking, ensuring that creative work moves efficiently through the production pipeline while maintaining high-quality output. ### Key Responsibilities #### Multimedia Production * Shoot and edit videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and client projects. * Film interviews, events, testimonials, and b-roll footage. * Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects. * Design marketing materials including social media posts, flyers, thumbnails, and digital advertisements. * Ensure all content aligns with client requirements and brand guidelines. * Organize and maintain project files, media assets, and production archives. #### Traffic & Production Coordination * Track the progress of all creative projects from briefing to final delivery. * Monitor deadlines and ensure deliverables move through each stage of production on time. * Coordinate between account managers, designers, videographers, editors, and project managers. * Maintain project trackers and provide regular status updates to management. * Follow up with team members to ensure tasks are completed according to schedule. * Identify workflow bottlenecks and proactively escalate delays. * Support the implementation of internal production processes and SOPs. ### Requirements * 2+ years of experience in video production, editing, and graphic design. * Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. * Strong storytelling, composition, and visual communication skills. * Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Comfortable following up with team members and tracking deadlines. * Personal PC or laptop capable of running professional editing and design software. * Portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work. ### Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in an agency, media, communications, or creative environment. * Familiarity with project management and task-tracking tools. * Understanding of production workflows and creative approval processes. ### How to Apply Submit your CV, portfolio/showreel, and a brief introduction outlining your relevant experience.
