Videographer Bright Techno Tonic Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (On-site) Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled, technical Videographer to lead the production and execution of high-quality visual content for our educational platforms, e-Tutor City and e-Exam Prep City. In this role, you will take full ownership of the camera work, studio environment, lighting designs, and audio capture, translating educational concepts into visually striking, trend aware content optimized for modern digital channels. Please Note: Video editing is handled by a dedicated post-production team. Your primary focus will be entirely on technical production quality, lighting setups, framing, asset longevity, and directing the raw capture process. Key Responsibilities · Technical Execution & Filming: Execute a minimum of three comprehensive, structured filming sessions per week (on location or in studio), delivering clean, technically precise raw footage. · High Volume Throughput: Manage the end-to-end technical production of up to 14 short-form visual assets per week tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. · On-Set Direction: Coordinate and direct on camera brand hosts, guiding performance, pacing, and visual framing during active capture windows. · Studio & Environment Architecture: Architect and manage studio lighting designs, scene composition, mobile first framing logic, and multi-channel audio capture matrices. · Asset & Equipment Management: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, optimization, and secure logging of company camera bodies, lenses, stabilization gear, wireless microphones, and lighting grids. · Trend Translation: Translate fast moving digital media formats and algorithmic presentation trends into practical, technical framing and shooting behaviors. · Post-Production Handover: Package and transmit clean, logically organized master media files alongside structured metadata production briefs to the post-production editing team. Requirements · Proven experience as a professional Videographer or Camera Operator with a strong showreel demonstrating technical competence in lighting, framing, and movement. · Deep technical literacy in short form visual asset dynamics, compression spaces, and platform formats (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts). · Advanced hands on capability with modern cameras, studio lighting grids (key, fill, rim configurations), and digital audio recording arrays. · Strong communication skills with experience managing on-camera talent, pacing protocols, and studio environments. Preferred Qualifications · Experience managing educational, informational, or technical content matrices. · Expertise in mobile first professional workflows and rapid deployment equipment kits.
