1. Main Role and Responsibilities • Website Intensive Customization: Completely overhaul, update, and optimize the existing WordPress infrastructure ( www.ppeth.org ) for better UI/UX, security, and loading speeds. • Online Classes Integration: Design, deploy, and configure a fully functional E-learning/LMS platform directly into the website to handle user enrollment, course delivery, and class management. • Feature Expansion & Maintenance: Troubleshoot current plugin or theme conflicts, write custom scripts if necessary, and ensure a seamless, mobile-responsive user experience over the 5-month contract. 2. Required Skills • Advanced WordPress Expertise: In-depth knowledge of core WordPress development, custom post types, hook systems, and theme/plugin customization. • Web Languages: High proficiency in backend and frontend languages, specifically PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript . • Database Management: Comfortable working with MySQL databases for user data and course configurations. 3. Preferred Qualifications • LMS/E-Learning Experience: Prior experience implementing systems like LearnDash, Tutor LMS, LifterLMS, or building bespoke digital classroom solutions. • Proximity to Hayahulet: Being locally based or able to easily commute to the office in Hayahulet, Addis Ababa for regular check-ins and collaboration. • Portfolio: A proven track record demonstrated by a portfolio of heavily customized WordPress sites. 4.
