Wegagen Bank would like to hire Graduate Trainee with the following requirements. Position 1: Graduate Trainee – IFB Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Marketing, or other banking-related fields. Experience: No work experience required. Additional Requirements: • Knowledge of Shari’ah law and principles related to Interest-Free Banking is required. • CGPA of 2.75 or above . • Only 2026 graduates are eligible. • Age 25 years or below . • Exit Exam result of 50% or above . • COC Certificate (for Level IV graduates) is mandatory. Job Purpose: Support the Bank’s effective customer service delivery and ensure customers receive efficient and quality banking services. Place of Work: • City Branches Position 2: Branch Manager III Job Purpose: Ensure the overall banking operation activities of the branch are performed in accordance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, guidelines, and other applicable regulations. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 1 year of experience as Branch Manager IV , Business Manager I , or an equivalent position. Place of Work: • Jijiga – Seid Square Branch Position 3: Branch Manager IV Job Purpose: Ensure the overall banking operation activities of the branch are performed in accordance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, guidelines, and other applicable regulations. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 1 year as Business Manager II , Business Manager III , or in an equivalent position. Place of Work: • Werka Branch • Hulbareg Branch • Bule Hora Branch • Chiro Branch Position 4: Branch Manager IV – IFB Job Purpose: Ensure the overall banking operation activities of the branch are performed in accordance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, guidelines, and other applicable regulations. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, including at least 1 year as Business Manager II-IFB , Business Manager III-IFB , or an equivalent position. Additional Requirement: • Knowledge of Shari’ah law and principles related to Interest-Free Banking (IFB) is mandatory . Place of Work: • Worabe Branch (Under Hawassa District Office) Position 5: Secretary Job Purpose: Support the smooth day-to-day functioning of the work unit by providing effective secretarial and office administration services. Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field. Experience: • Diploma holders: 4 years of relevant experience . • Bachelor’s Degree holders: Relevant experience as required by the position.
