Job Title: YouTube Thumbnail Designer - Health & Medical Niche The Role Our growing YouTube startup is seeking a talented YouTube Thumbnail Designer who understands the health, medical, nutrition, and wellness niche. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling thumbnails that generate curiosity, communicate the video’s core idea instantly, and improve click-through rate. Responsibilities & Workflow • Thumbnail Concept Development: Review each video title, script, or creative brief and develop multiple thumbnail concepts based on the strongest emotional and visual hooks. • High-CTR Design: Create thumbnails that are clear, bold, curiosity-driven, and easy to understand on both mobile and desktop. • Health-Niche Visuals: Design thumbnails for topics such as nutrition, sleep, weight loss, hormones, metabolism, longevity, supplements, disease prevention, and general wellness. • AI-Assisted Asset Creation: Use AI image-generation and editing tools when necessary to create custom characters, medical visuals, organs, food imagery, backgrounds, and other unique assets. • Photo Manipulation: Professionally combine, retouch, enhance, and color-grade images to create polished and believable compositions. • Text & Visual Hierarchy: Use minimal, powerful text only when it strengthens the concept. Ensure the most important visual element is immediately noticeable. • Brand Consistency: Maintain a recognizable visual style across the channel while keeping each thumbnail fresh and topic-specific. • Variations for Testing: Create alternative versions of selected thumbnails for A/B testing. • File Organization: Deliver final thumbnails and editable source files in clearly labeled folders. Deliverables Our initial weekly target is: • 5 completed YouTube thumbnails per week • 2–3 initial concepts or directions per assigned video • Alternative versions for selected videos when A/B testing is required • Final export in 1280 × 720 px , JPG or PNG format • Organized delivery through Canva, Google Drive, or our preferred project-management system The workload may increase as the channel grows. Tools We Provide Depending on the selected candidate’s workflow, we may provide access to: • Canva Pro • AI image-generation tools(nano banana) • Video titles and scripts • Channel branding and visual references • Performance feedback and thumbnail analytics Designers may also use their preferred professional tools.
