Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthetist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia and emergency medical care in pre-hospital settings.  Key Responsibilities:  • Respond to emergency calls and radio transmissions promptly and efficiently.  • Assess, triage, and manage patients at the scene, prioritizing red-level emergencies.  • Administer advanced airway management, including endotracheal intubation for patients with respiratory failure.  • Interpret ECG rhythms and manage cardiac dysrhythmias in accordance with ACLS protocols.  • Provide emergency medical treatment, including intravenous medication administration and perfusion as required.  • Manage surgical emergencies pre-transport and during ambulance transit.  • Safely transport emergency patients to designated healthcare facilities.  • Monitor and provide continuous care to patients during transit.  • Communicate effectively with receiving medical teams, providing detailed patient reports, including medical history, condition, and treatment provided.  • Prepare and submit accurate incident and patient care reports in compliance with medical standards.  Qualifications & Requirements : • BSc degree in Anesthesia from a recognized government university/college.  • Minimum 2 years of experience in anesthesia or emergency care.  • Valid and up-to-date certifications in BLS and CPD. Proficiency in:  • Mechanical ventilator and advanced airway management • Basic Emergency Care • National Integrated Emergency Medicine (NIEM)  • Emergency Pediatrics & Gynecology/Obstetrics (GYN/OBS)  • Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure emergency situations.  • must be willing to work outside Addis Ababa when required.
