Job description
Educational Qualification • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution. • Valid professional license to practice medicine in Ethiopia. Work Experience • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. • Relevant clinical experience is preferred and will be considered an advantage. Duties and Responsibilities • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions. • Conduct comprehensive patient history taking and physical examinations. • Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs. • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with established medical guidelines. • Request and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations. • Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and patient counseling. • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions and provide appropriate follow-up care. • Recognize medical emergencies and provide immediate management or referral when required. • Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records. • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals when necessary. • Work collaboratively with nurses, specialists, laboratory professionals, and other healthcare staff. • Follow infection prevention and control standards and institutional clinical protocols. • Participate in quality improvement, clinical meetings, and continuing professional development activities. • Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and high standards of patient care.
