We are seeking a highly trustworthy, detail-oriented, and resilient Cashier Accountant to manage critical finance and documentation functions. This is not a standard 9-to-5 desk job—it is an intensive, highly rewarding role requiring absolute integrity to ensure the financial traceability of our coffee cherry procurement. Your Journey & Locations This role is structured to match the natural flow of the coffee season: • Phase 1: Training & Probation (Up to 1 Month) Based at our Addis Ababa Main Office . • Phase 2: Washed Coffee Season (4 Months) On-site deployment to one of our washing stations: Jimma (Limu Wereda) , Yekiboko (Gambella) , or Tepi . (Free accommodation provided) . • Phase 3: Dry Coffee Season & Beyond A post-season rearrangement/re-evaluation will occur for ongoing operations. What You'll Be Doing • Cash Management: Accurately handle high-volume daily cash transactions and manage the station’s float to facilitate continuous, smooth coffee cherry purchasing. • Traceability Champion: Meticulously collect, verify, and reconcile all source documents to generate official Coffee Cherry Purchase Notes. • Compliance & Payroll: Ensure all local labor, payroll, and site procurement documentation is correctly processed and securely transmitted to the Addis main office. • Site Support: Provide reliable administrative and financial support to the Site Manager in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. Mandatory Operational Requirements Due to the intensive nature of the seasonal coffee harvest, candidates must commit to: • On-Site Residency: Mandatory residency at the assigned processing station for the entire 4-month wet processing season. • 24/7 Operational Availability: Preparedness to work irregular hours (including nights, weekends, and holidays) to match the continuous flow of coffee deliveries. • Adaptability: Readiness for redeployment/rearrangement once the dry season begins. What We Need From You • Education: Degree in Accounting. • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in cash handling, bookkeeping, or a similar high-trust role.
