A machinist helper is an entry-level worker who supports skilled machinists in a factory or machine shop . They load and unload materials, clean and maintain equipment, measure basic parts, and keep the workspace safe and organized while learning trade skills. Key Responsibilities • Help set up, start, and monitor tools like lathes, mills, and grinders. • Move, load, and unload raw stock, metal pieces, and finished products. • Measure parts using basic tools like calipers to spot obvious defects. • Clear out metal chips, sweep floors, wash parts, and organize tools. • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow shop safety rules. • qualification • TVT Level 1 or grade 10/8 completed and 1 year related experience • work place: Addis Ababa • Salary: 8,652 birr
