Job Description We are looking for an IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer to manage, secure, and support company and client IT environments. Key Responsibilities Microsoft 365 and Email Security • Manage Microsoft 365 users, licences, groups, shared mailboxes, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. • Configure Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, administrator roles, and secure sign-in policies. • Handle onboarding, offboarding, password resets, session revocation, and compromised accounts. • Configure MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, anti-spam, anti-phishing, Safe Links, and Safe Attachments. • Review sign-in activity, audit logs, suspicious emails, mailbox rules, and third-party application access. Endpoint Security and Monitoring • Deploy and manage antivirus, EDR, endpoint protection, and monitoring tools. • Monitor computers and servers for security, performance, and software issues. • Manage Windows and third-party application updates. • Configure BitLocker, screen-lock policies, and other device-security settings. • Maintain records of devices, software, licences, and security tools. Networking and Infrastructure • Configure and support firewalls, routers, VPNs, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and related network settings. • Review firewall rules, firmware, and remote-access configurations. • Monitor connectivity and assist with network outages. • Prepare setup instructions and guide team members during equipment installation. • Maintain backups of firewall and network-device configurations. Backup and Recovery • Configure and monitor Microsoft 365, workstation, and server backups. • Investigate failed backups and confirm successful completion. • Restore files, emails, mailboxes, and system data. • Perform recovery tests and maintain backup documentation. • Support recovery after accidental deletion, hardware failure, ransomware, or system outages. Technical Support and Cybersecurity • Troubleshoot Windows, Outlook, Microsoft Office, printers, VPNs, internet connections, and business applications. • Record, prioritize, and resolve support tickets. • Monitor Microsoft 365, endpoint, cloud, and network-security alerts. • Investigate suspicious sign-ins, phishing, malware, and unauthorized access. • Block affected accounts, revoke sessions, reset credentials, and isolate devices when necessary. • Follow incident-response procedures and escalate serious incidents when required. • Coordinate with vendors, internet providers, and technical team members. Documentation and Reporting • Maintain records of users, devices, licences, networks, backups, and security configurations. • Document technical changes, incidents, setup instructions, and completed work. • Prepare reports on system health, patching, backups, security alerts, and unresolved risks. • Support security-awareness training and phishing simulations. Requirements • Practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Windows systems. • Knowledge of Entra ID, Exchange Online, MFA, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Defender. • Experience troubleshooting computers, email, applications, and network problems. • Understanding of endpoint security, EDR, backups, patching, firewalls, and VPNs. • Ability to manage IT environments independently and guide team members through setup and troubleshooting. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and client environments. • Basic PowerShell or scripting knowledge is an advantage. • Strong written and spoken English is required. Qualifications • Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • Previous experience in IT support, systems administration, Microsoft 365, networking, or cybersecurity is preferred.
