Full-Time Videographer & Video Editor — Personal Brand + Business Content We are looking for a full-time Videographer & Video Editor to produce content for a personal brand and multiple business ventures in Addis Ababa. The role combines filming, social media editing, corporate video production, color grading, audio cleanup, file organization, and creative collaboration. You will work directly with the founder across fitness, combat sports, lifestyle, transportation, real estate, and business operations. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Personal Brand Content Shoot and edit content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and occasional long-form YouTube videos covering boxing, combat sports, strength and conditioning, running, fitness, lifestyle, entrepreneurship, and day-in-the-life content. Editing should focus on strong hooks, pacing, storytelling, captions, music, sound design, and retention. Corporate & Business Content. Produce professional promotional videos, fleet and vehicle showcases, property walkthroughs, client testimonials, founder messaging, events, and behind-the-scenes content. The candidate must be able to switch between energetic personal-brand content and polished corporate production. Filming Film at gyms, offices, properties, vehicle locations, outdoor sites, events, and other locations around Addis Ababa. Primary shooting equipment will be provided, including DJI Osmo Pocket cameras, DJI wireless microphones, lighting, tripods, and accessories. Video Editing Handle the full post-production workflow in DaVinci Resolve: • Footage selection and organization • Story development • Cutting and pacing • B-roll placement • Captions and kinetic text • Music and sound effects • Audio cleanup • Basic motion graphics • Final export and delivery The editor should be able to identify the strongest moments from large amounts of footage rather than simply assembling clips. Color Grading Work confidently with Apple Log, D-Log M, and other flat footage. Responsibilities include exposure correction, white balance, skin tones, CST workflows, LUT/PowerGrade use, shot matching, and consistent visual styles. Creative Collaboration Work directly with the founder on video concepts, shot lists, hooks, storyboards, B-roll ideas, editing approaches, and visual direction. The candidate should contribute creatively rather than only follow instructions. Content & Equipment Management Organize raw footage, project files, finished exports, music, sound effects, graphics, LUTs, PowerGrades, and reusable B-roll. Maintain cameras, microphones, lighting, batteries, memory cards, tripods, and accessories. QUALIFICATIONS DaVinci Resolve Strong proficiency in the Edit Page, Color Page, Fairlight, media organization, and export workflows. Editing & Camera Skills Strong understanding of: • High-retention short-form editing • Storytelling and pacing • Captions and kinetic text • Sound design and music synchronization • Clean corporate editing • DJI Osmo Pocket systems • Smartphone/Log shooting • Gimbals and wireless microphones • Basic lighting • Proper Log exposure Portfolio Required Portfolio should demonstrate short-form editing, athletic or lifestyle content, corporate/commercial work, storytelling, color grading, clean audio, and strong camera work. Formal qualifications are less important than demonstrated ability.
