Akoya Properties is looking for a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented Camera Operator & Video Editor to join our Marketing and Promotion team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content from pre-production and filming through editing and final delivery, with strong experience in real estate, commercial, social media, or corporate content production. Key Responsibilities · Plan, set up, and execute professional video shoots for our real estate projects, marketing campaigns, corporate communications, events, and social media content. · Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment, gimbals, stabilizers, and other production equipment. · Capture high-quality footage of property developments, construction progress, completed projects, customer testimonials, interviews, events, and promotional activities. · Develop appropriate camera compositions, framing, camera movements, lighting setups, and shooting techniques according to each project’s creative requirements. · Conduct professional drone photography and videography to capture aerial views, project overviews, construction progress, property surroundings, and cinematic promotional footage. · Collaborate with the Marketing, Creative, and Sales teams to translate campaign objectives and creative concepts into compelling visual content. · Manage the complete video production process from pre-production, filming, and footage management to post-production and final delivery. · Perform video editing, color correction, audio enhancement, sound mixing, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics, and other post-production requirements. · Produce platform-optimized content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms. · Contribute creative ideas for video concepts, campaigns, property storytelling, and social media content. · Organize, manage, and archive raw footage, project files, digital assets, and final video outputs using an efficient file-management system. Requirements · Proven professional experience as a Camera Operator, Videographer, Video Editor, or in a similar role. · Strong technical knowledge of professional camera equipment, lighting, audio, and video production. · Proficiency in professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent. · Demonstrated experience in drone operation and aerial videography. · Strong understanding of cinematography, composition, lighting, framing, camera movement, and sound recording. · Experience creating short-form video content for social media platforms. · Strong understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, resolution, and export requirements for different digital platforms. · Creative mindset with strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail. · Strong communication and teamwork skills. · Ability to work on-site, including at construction and property development locations. · A professional portfolio is required. Preferred Qualifications · Experience in real estate, property development, advertising, digital marketing, or corporate media production. · Professional drone certification/license or documented experience operating drones for commercial content. · Experience with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects. · Experience with real estate photography and architectural videography. · Familiarity with current social media content trends and digital advertising formats.
