VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Canteen Catering Service Manager Employer: ABIY Catering Service Duty Station: Heineken Ethiopia Brewery, Bedele Brewery Position: Canteen Catering Service Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Negotiable Benefits: Company-provided accommodation and meals About the Position ABIY Catering Service is seeking a competent, energetic, and experienced Canteen Catering Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of the staff canteen and catering services at Heineken Ethiopia Brewery, Bedele . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality food service delivery, maintaining high hygiene standards, managing catering staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Manage and supervise daily canteen and catering operations. • Ensure the preparation and serving of safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals. • Lead, train, and monitor catering personnel. • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards. • Control inventory, food costs, and minimize wastage. • Coordinate procurement and stock management activities. • Handle customer feedback and implement service improvement initiatives. • Prepare regular operational and performance reports. • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health regulations. Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Catering Management, Food and Beverage Management, Nutrition, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in catering, hospitality, or food service management. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities. • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are advantageous.
