Hexagon Computer Systems is a technology company established in 2009 G.C. Our primary works are preventive and corrective IT support, network infrastructure, web design and CCTV camera supply and installation. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on IT Support & Systems Technician to join our team. This position is suitable for a fresh graduate or an IT professional with no more than two years of relevant experience who is eager to develop practical skills across IT support, networking, security systems, and technology infrastructure. Position: IT Support & Systems Technician Qualifications • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking , or a related field. • Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. • Candidates with 0–2 years of relevant work experience are preferred. • Practical technical skills, internships, academic projects, or hands-on personal projects will be considered valuable. • Relevant technical certifications are an advantage. Required Technical Skills Candidates should have practical knowledge or training in several of the following areas: IT Support & Troubleshooting • Windows and basic desktop operating systems • Computer hardware and peripherals • Software installation and configuration • Printer and peripheral troubleshooting • Basic user account and system administration • General IT troubleshooting and problem-solving Networking • LAN installation and configuration • Network cabling and termination • Switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and basic network configuration • TCP/IP and basic network troubleshooting • Basic network testing and fault diagnosis Security & Communication Systems • Fire Alarm System addressing, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting • CCTV camera installation, configuration, and troubleshooting • Access door/access control system installation and configuration • Intercom system installation and configuration • PABX/IP-PBX installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Additional Skills — Plus Knowledge or experience in the following will be considered an advantage: • Programming or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, or similar • AI-assisted development and productivity tools, including Claude Code • GitHub and basic Git workflows • Vercel and modern web deployment environments • cPanel • Web hosting environments, domains, DNS, SSL, and website deployment • Basic website development and maintenance • Linux/server administration • Cloud services and web-based applications Location : Addis Ababa Deadline: August 19, 2026 How To Apply : Interested candidates should submit their CV/resume highlighting their education, technical skills, internships, projects, certifications, and any practical IT experience.
