Import and Export Trainer Tradeup Academy is looking for an experienced and energetic Import and Export Trainer to deliver practical, easy-to-understand training for aspiring and existing businesspeople. Main responsibilities Deliver practical import and export courses Teach Ethiopian customs, banking, foreign exchange and trade procedures Explain import and export documentation step by step Train students on Incoterms, logistics, shipping and freight forwarding Teach international sourcing, supplier verification and buyer development Use real business examples, documents and case studies Prepare training materials, assignments and assessments Guide students in developing practical import or export business plans Keep course content updated with market and regulatory changes Support Tradeup Academy’s workshops and related business courses when required Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration or a related field At least three years of practical experience in import, export, customs, logistics, banking or international trade Strong understanding of Ethiopia’s import and export procedures Good knowledge of trade documentation, Incoterms and payment methods Strong presentation, communication and classroom-management skills Ability to teach clearly in Amharic and English Comfortable using PowerPoint and other digital teaching tools Preferred qualities Previous teaching or professional-training experience Direct experience completing import or export transactions Experience working with customs, banks, shipping companies or freight forwarders Ability to make complex topics simple and practical Professional, reliable and committed to student success
