Job Title: Junior / Fresh Graduate Female Accountant (2 Positions) Company: Power On Trading Job Type: Full-time Gender Preference: Female Number of Openings: 2 Net Salary: 6,000 ETB / month Work Locations: • Branch 1: Lideta / Mexico area, Addis Ababa (1 Position) • Branch 2: Bole Welo Sefer area, Addis Ababa (1 Position) Job Description: Power On Trading is seeking two energetic, detail-oriented, and motivated Junior/Fresh Graduate Female Accountants to join our team across our two branch locations. In this entry-level role, you will assist with daily accounting tasks, financial record-keeping, invoice preparation, and petty cash management while gaining hands-on experience in commercial trade accounting. Key Responsibilities: • Record daily financial transactions and post journal entries accurately. • Manage branch petty cash flow and prepare cash replenishment reports. • Issue invoices, payment vouchers, and official receipt vouchers to customers. • Assist with inventory tracking, sales reconciliations, and daily balance reports. • Maintain organized filing systems for physical and digital financial documents. • Perform routine bank deposits, collection checks, and account reconciliations. • Support senior management during monthly closing routines and basic tax filing preparations. Job Requirements & Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s Degree ($B.A.$) in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or a closely related field. • Experience: Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in accounting or finance. • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, manual bookkeeping, and financial software (e.g., Peachtree / QuickBooks or MS Excel). • Language: Proficiency in written and spoken Amharic; functional knowledge of English. • Attributes: High integrity, attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and good interpersonal communication.
