Job description
We are actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a QA Tester. This role requires someone with a sharp attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the quality of our software products. YOU WILL HAVE A 15,000 birr GROSS SALARY COMPENSATION Responsibility: - Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to maintain the quality of software applications. - Perform functional testing and user acceptance testing - Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to detect defects and ensure they are resolved prior to software release. - Document test results and communicate findings to relevant teams. - Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Provide guidance to the development team and product owner in adhering to Scrum principles and practices. - Act as a servant-leader, empowering the team to self-organize and make autonomous decisions - conducting daily standups to motivate, brief daily plan - Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Clickup, or similar platforms. - Define project requirements and establish work schedules for the team. - Delegate tasks and ensure the team meets daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. - Create and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. - Provide regular project updates to stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress. - Assign tasks and communicate expected deliverables to team members. - has experience with cypress automation - Proficiency with open-source automation tools, such as Cypress or other appropriate test automation frameworks - Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments as required. - Evaluate project performance to identify areas for enhancement. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience in software quality assurance/testing. - Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
