Job description
● Manage and review daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, cash, bank, and general ledger. ● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts. ● Handle tax, VAT, withholding tax, payroll, pension, and other statutory financial processes. ● Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow and financial transactions. ● Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and analyze financial performance. ● Ensure proper documentation, filing, and control of all financial records. ● Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required financial documents. ● Review invoices, payment requests, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance. ● Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company financial policies. ● Supervise and support junior accounting staff. ● Coordinate with government offices, suppliers, banks, auditors, and other stakeholders on financial matters. ● Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for effective decision-making. ● Experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, fuel management, vehicle-related expenses, and transport-sector financial processes is an added advantage.
