Job Description: Soldering Technician / Factory Assembly Worker (UPS Products) What this job is about (in simple terms): Soldering means using heat to melt a special metal (solder) so it joins electronic parts together, creating a permanent connection — similar to using glue, but with melted metal instead. This is how small electronic components get attached onto circuit boards (called PCBs) inside our UPS products. This is the single most important skill for this role — the person must already know how to solder well. Role Summary We are looking for an experienced person who can solder electronic components onto circuit boards and also help assemble UPS units on the factory floor. Soldering is the main and most important part of the job — this is not a trainee position, the candidate must already have hands-on soldering experience. Key Responsibilities Solder electronic components onto circuit boards (PCBs) used inside UPS products Solder wires and connections for the UPS units Help assemble other parts of the UPS (putting components together, wiring, fitting parts into the casing, etc.) Check that soldering and connections are done neatly and correctly (no loose or messy joints) Follow basic safety practices while working with soldering tools (which get very hot)
