Role Overview: The Technical Consultant is responsible for the technical design, development, integration, and system-level configuration of Temenos Transact (T24). This role supports functional consultants by translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring system performance, scalability, and successful integrations. Key Responsibilities • Technical Design & Development * Develop and customize Temenos Transact components using InfoBasic , TAFJ/TAFC , and Temenos frameworks * Build and maintain LOCAL routines , hooks, and validations * Develop and manage VERSIONs , ENQUIRYs , and browser customizations * Support product configuration through technical enhancements where required • Integration & Interfaces * Design and implement integrations using OFS (Open Financial Services) and APIs * Build interfaces between Transact and external systems (mobile apps, payment gateways, reporting tools) * Troubleshoot and optimize message flows and interface performance • Data Migration Support * Develop scripts and tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) * Support bulk data uploads using OFS and other utilities * Assist in reconciliation by validating migrated data and resolving inconsistencies • Environment & Deployment * Install, configure, and maintain Transact environments (TAFC/TAFJ) * Support CI/CD pipelines , deployment automation, and release management * Manage environments across development, testing, and production • Testing & Support * Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from a technical standpoint * Troubleshoot system issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks * Support Close of Business (COB) processes and resolve technical failures • Performance & Optimization * Monitor system performance and tune application/database performance * Optimize batch jobs, queries, and system resources * Ensure system scalability and reliability • Documentation & Standards * Prepare technical design documents and integration specifications * Maintain code quality, version control, and development standards * Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure alignment between business and technical solutions Required Skills & Knowledge * Strong experience with Temenos T24 / Transact technical stack * Proficiency in InfoBasic , jBASE , or Java (TAFJ) * Solid understanding of OFS messaging and integration patterns * Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting * Knowledge of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL) * Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, and cloud environments is a plus Ideal Profile * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills * Ability to work closely with functional teams and translate requirements into code * Attention to detail in system behavior and data handling * Ability to work under pressure during deployments and go-live Apply: https://forms.gle/eKE5aGCpWU26WFFN7
