As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated, professional, and results-oriented Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team. Position Summary The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, HR policy implementation, compliance with Ethiopian labor laws, and organizational development. The successful candidate will play a key role in building a high-performing workforce and fostering a positive organizational culture. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives. • Lead the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of top talent. • Manage employee performance appraisal systems and career development programs. • Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and workplace standards. • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian Labour Proclamation and applicable employment regulations. • Manage employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution. • Coordinate staff training, learning, and professional development initiatives. • Oversee payroll coordination, employee benefits, attendance, and leave management. • Maintain accurate HR records and personnel documentation. • Prepare HR reports, workforce planning, and management dashboards. • Foster employee engagement, organizational culture, and workplace well-being. • Support senior management in organizational planning and strategic HR initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Education • Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a closely related field. • Master's Degree (MBA, MA, or MSc) is an added advantage. Experience • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience in Human Resource Management or a related HR role. Required Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian Labour Law and HR best practices. • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Strong recruitment and talent acquisition capabilities. • Experience in performance management and employee engagement. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Attributes • Experience in the technology, ICT, logistics, or digital services sector. • Knowledge of HR Information Systems (HRIS). • Experience developing HR policies and procedures. • Strong analytical and reporting skills. • Commitment to continuous learning and organizational excellence.
