Location: Addis Ababa, Goro Position Title: Sales & Marketing Officer Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: General Manager / Operations Director Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven, and proactive Sales & Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive business growth by promoting our leather products, expanding our market reach, and building lasting relationships with B2B and retail clients. Previous experience in the leather or textile sales sector is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Sales & Promotion: Actively promote and sell the company's premium leather products to target markets and retail partners. • Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong, reliable relationships with existing and potential customers. • Lead Generation: Proactively identify new sales opportunities, generate leads, and aggressively follow up with potential clients. • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by corporate management. • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed, regular sales reports, analyze pipeline health, and maintain precise customer records. • Customer Service Excellence: Provide high-caliber customer service before, during, and after a sale to secure client retention and brand loyalty. • Market Intelligence: Conduct routine market research to track industry trends, competitor activities, and shifting customer needs. • Production Coordination: Work closely with the workshop production team to ensure client orders are completed and delivered on time. • Campaign Execution: Plan, execute, and monitor creative marketing campaigns across various digital and physical channels. • Budget Optimization: Help develop and prudently manage the allocated sales and marketing budget. Qualifications & Experience: • Education: BA Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, or a related commercial field. • Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in sales and marketing. Direct experience in selling leather products or textile materials is highly preferred. Skills: · Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. · Deep understanding of retail sales strategies, institutional B2B targeting, and digital marketing. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Amharic and English. · Strong coordination and reporting abilities to act as a bridge between customers and the factory.
