Job description
• Evaluate the aroma, flavor, acidity, body, and overall quality of coffee samples using standard cupping procedures. • Conduct coffee cupping sessions and prepare accurate cupping reports. • Identify coffee defects and recommend quality improvements. • Classify and grade coffee according to company and industry standards. • Work closely with the quality control, procurement, and export teams. • Maintain cupping equipment and ensure cleanliness of the cupping laboratory. • Keep accurate records of cupping results and quality assessments. • Support quality assurance activities throughout the coffee supply chain. • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Coffee Quality, Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in coffee cupping or coffee quality control. • Preferred Qualifications • Experience in coffee export companies. • Familiarity with Ethiopian coffee grading standards and international coffee quality requirements. • Good command of English and Amharic.
