Position Title: Senior Early Childhood Education Instructor Kibur College is seeking a qualified, experienced, and passionate Senior Early Childhood Education (ECE) Instructor to join its newly established Day Care Teacher Training Institute . The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality professional training to future day-care and early childhood educators and supporting the academic development of the institute. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in Early Childhood Education and Care . • Develop course outlines, lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and assessments. • Facilitate practical demonstrations and learner-centered training activities. • Provide guidance and mentorship to trainee teachers. • Coordinate and supervise practical teaching, classroom observation, and field-based learning. • Contribute to curriculum development, course improvement, and training material development. • Assess trainees' academic and practical performance and provide constructive feedback. • Promote child-centered, play-based, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate teaching approaches. • Introduce trainees to current approaches in child development, classroom management, learning through play, child protection, and early childhood pedagogy. • Participate in academic meetings, quality assurance activities, research, and professional development programs. • Support the Head/Coordinator of the Day Care Teacher Training Institute in academic planning and departmental activities. • Establish and maintain professional relationships with day-care centers, kindergartens, and other relevant institutions for practical training and field placement. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements • Education: Master’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Educational Psychology, Education , or a closely related field. • Academic Performance: Strong academic record with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or above . • Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant teaching, training, or professional experience in Early Childhood Education, preferably in a higher education or teacher-training institution. • Demonstrated experience in early childhood teacher training, curriculum development, or practical training supervision is highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of child development, early childhood pedagogy, play-based learning, and classroom management. • Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to use modern teaching methods, educational technologies, and digital learning resources. • Experience in research, training material development, or professional publications is an advantage. • Commitment to child-centered, inclusive, safe, and ethical educational practices. • Compliance: Proof of tax payment/clearance from the Ministry of Revenue must be presented as required.
